JIMMY. 

FROM THE STREETS TO THE STUDIO!

​Jimmy is a custom tattoo artist and the owner of Velvet Ink. He has spent the last few years creating and fine tuning his distinctive and individual style that lends itself to custom based tattoo work, no matter what the customer's specifications are you can be sure Jimmy will produce a quality piece of work.

Jimmy grew up in Wellingborough and has always enjoyed art. This can be seen in his love of Street Art (Graffiti) which he has done all his life, making headlines for charity events and even being invited to judge at years knife amnesty event in Corby.  Jimmy started his tattooing career like many artists before him when he became an apprentice for an already established artist. Working through the ranks he finally took the leap to establish Velvet Ink in 2010 taking on apprentices of his own and giving other artists the opportunity to grow and enhance their skills.
